Digital Millennium Copyright Act

In 1998, the United States Congress enacted the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) to address copyright infringement through digital channels. Should copyright owners or their representatives believe their rights have been violated, they may issue a DMCA Notice to our appointed Copyright Agent. Atimaze Srl. adheres strictly to the protocols set forth by the DMCA.

DMCA notices can only be filed by copyright holders or their representatives. Responses will be provided solely to those individuals or entities who hold copyright and submit a DMCA Notice.

A DMCA Notice must conform to the standards and criteria specified by the DMCA. Essential elements of a valid DMCA Notice include:

• Details of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed, or, for multiple works in a single Notice, a consolidated list of such works.
• Accurate identification of the alleged infringing content and enough information for atimaze to locate it, including details like the subject, date, time, message-ID(s), and newsgroup where it was posted.
• Comprehensive contact details such as the complainant's full name, address, phone number, email address, and for agents, a statement clarifying their relationship with the copyright owner.
• An assertion from the complainant, based on a good faith belief, that the use of the material in the disputed manner is not permitted by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
• A declaration, under the threat of perjury, confirming the accuracy of the information in the DMCA Notice and that the individual submitting it is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder. This must include the physical or electronic signature of the authorized representative.

Please forward your DMCA Notice to our designated Copyright Agent. If your Notice fails to meet the specified criteria, please be aware that we may not be able to process or respond to it.

Upon receiving a valid Notice, atimaze will:

1. Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
2. Inform the subscriber of the removal or disabling of the material.
